Childhood Immunisations

Please see our Vaccination Schedule for detailed information.

Travel Vaccinations

The practice will carry out this service. Please contact us 2 months before travelling in order that the vaccination plan can be worked out at the Travel Clinic. There is a fee for Travel Clinic.

Influenza vaccination is offered in October and is recommended for high-risk patients every year, such as patients with heart and lung disease, diabetes or those at risk through their work.

Tetanus Vaccine

A full course of 5 Vaccinations gives lifelong immunity, otherwise should be given every 10 years. If you are uncertain, please contact the surgery.

Polio Vaccine

Again, a full course should give lifelong immunity. Individuals born before 1962 may have received low potency vaccine and should receive a booster at 10 years after their last immunisation. Again, if you are unsure contact the surgery.
