NHS Pharmacy First Scotland will allow community pharmacies to give people expert help for treating conditions such as sore throats, earache and cold sores, along with common clinical conditions such as urinary tract infections (UTI’s).

We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases and offer a wide variety of medical services.

Nurse Clinics

The Practice Nurse is available to help with health checks and advice, blood tests, immunisations and cervical cytology. She also runs asthma and COPD clinics and diabetic clinics

Special Clinics
  • Ante-natal & Post Natal Checks – (by appointment).
  • Child Surveillance and Development – (by appointment).
  • Immunisations – Friday am (by appointment).

Cervical Smears

Regular clinics by appointment (Dr Stevenson, Dr Cree, Nurse S McCulloch and Nurse K Kilpatrick).

Smears needed every three years for women aged between 25 years and 50 years, every 5 years for 50 to 64 and 364 days.

There is a Mammography Screening Service every 3 years for women aged 50 and over centred at Ayrshire Central Hospital, IRVINE. Appointments are sent out centrally for this.

Private Medicals

The Practice carries out medicals for insurance companies, PCV and LGV. Please contact reception for appointments. These examinations are a private service and attract a fee which must be paid at the time.
